Somerset Hedgerows

The Finger Tree

The Somerset hedgerows where I live are the inspiration for this collection of charcoal and graphite drawings. The hedgerows are rich in species diversity as they have a long tradition of being laid rather than cut, providing lots of different habitas at different heights. Every now and again a sapling is left to develop into its full height providing a different habitat. This drawing, “The Finger Tree” was selected by ACE Arts for their Open in 2025 https://www.acearts.co.uk/ and as now been sold. Other drawings in the collection are available either from my studio or from https://www.talentartgallery.co.uk/. They are all framed and 60 x 40 cm.
