Overall winner of the Ilminster Open June 2023
It was a great surprise to be selected as overall winner of this year’s Ilminster Open with my painting “Untouchable Horizons”. There were over 100 entries and the exhibition ran for a month at the Ilminster Arts Centre. It felt a bit of a risk to enter “Untouchable Horizons” as it was a little bit different to previous work I had entered which had received commendations. This year for the first time work was pre-selected from digital images so I wasn’t even sure the work would get through round one and be hung.
